About Angelica Pickles:
Angelica is a sweet, playful mini Goldendoodle girl! She is around 12-13 lbs currently and approx. 3 months old, and we expect her to be a small to medium size dog when full grown. She is dog and kid friendly, and has not been cat tested. She is not yet house trained or leash trained. This little girl is playful and energetic, and would love a home with another dog to play with. She can’t wait to meet her furever family.
Angelica is a Benefactor dog:
Benefactor dogs have higher adoption fees due to a combination of reasons: they may be a purebred dog, small sized dogs that are in high demand, younger age, etc. They are quickly adopted, even with their higher fees. Their adoption fees allow them to act as “benefactors” to other dogs in our care such as, senior medical cases we pull from local shelters to give them a chance at a new life, former breeding dogs in need of dentals and mass removals/biopsies, heartworm positive dogs, dogs with heart problems or broken bones. Dog like Betty White who was tied outside of a shelter who is blind, deaf and in kidney failure, or Shadow who was a neglect case we took in recently. We take in so many that require special medical care or procedures, and our benefactor dog program allows us to help more dogs that otherwise would not have a chance at life.
This allows us to get these other dogs the medical care they need, and gives them a better chance at adoption and a loving home.
